Daughter and Mother Duo
PAWS’N’PALS was founded by Madison and Nancy. They are a mother/daughter duo that have been pet lovers and owners their entire lives. The two of them currently have a total of 5 dogs and 3 cats that are a part of their families. Madison and Nancy decided to pursue their dreams of working with animals in October of 2024. The mother daughter duo love to walk their dogs and have years of pet sitting experience for friends and family. When Madison became a dog mom to her puppy Moe, in 2021, she soon after had separation anxiety from her puppy and had a hard time finding a sitter that would put as much heart and care into her fur baby as she could. The only person Madison would trust was her mother, Nancy. That is when the dynamic duo thought of sharing their love for animals with others. Their love for animals and health conscious lifestyles fuels their dedication to provide exceptional love and attention to your furry companions. The founders of PAWS’N’PALS are passionate about animals, providing love and exercise for all animals as if they are their own, and believe that all animals and their owners deserve trust, reliability, attention, and love.
Meet the Team Duo
Madison grew up in Pleasanton and has always had a deep love for animals. She has never lived in a home without dogs and cats. She started riding and caring for horses when she was five years old and pursued that passion until she left for Saint Mary’s College of California. Madison graduated from SMC in 2016. Madison struggled post college to find a job that she was passionate about. In 2021, Madison acquired a reactive dog, Moe, and worked extremely hard to understand his needs and the importance of regular exercise. She loved all of the training and learning that Moe brought to her life. While thinking about pursuing a career with animals, she somehow acquired a kitten with a congenital defect. This was the sign she needed to realize working with animals was her calling. Her parents suggested she pursue her love for animals and that is how PAWS’N’PALS came to life. With a heart enriched by love, creativity, comedy, and joy; Madison will provide your animals with the love, care, and attention they deserve.
Nancy moved to the Bay Area in 1990. She is a mother of three and grandmother of four. In addition to her biological children, Nancy has four dogs and two cats. She has owned dogs, cats, rabbits, rats, fish, birds, hamsters, horses, and hermit crabs. Nancy is passionate about animals, has a deep love for walking, and finds joy in styling hair, spending time with her husband and family, and watching Survivor. Nancy will bring the same love and dedication to your pets, ensuring they receive exceptional care.
